Tim Powers "On Writing" Lecture on YouTube

At the recent Oslo SF Festival that Powers (and I) attended in Norway this last August, the author gave a lecture on"How To Plot" in which he revealed some fascinating insights into his writing process. As well as being an insightful, inspirational and educational talk for any aspiring writers, this is also an amusing and entertaining lecture that fans will be delighted to see.

The lecture was filmed and has been put on YouTube in segments, the first of which is below. (The quality of both video and audio is not that great, but the content certainly makes up for this).

Here are links for part two, part three, part four and part five.

There's not a transcript of this floating around is there? And are there any other instances you know of where Mr. Powers has talked about writing? Cheers!

I don't know of one Andrew. Powers, of course, teaches creative writing at the Orange County High School of the Arts. He has also taught at Clarion and is involved with the Writers of the Future contest. Additionally, he occasionally (as he did here) gives talks or lectures on writing at conventions.
